Aaron Patterson, M.S.

Aaron Patterson has worked in sports his entire career. For over a decade, he has specifically helped athletes work toward improvement in sport performance and athletic development. Realizing there was a new area of need amongst the population of athletes he served, he began studying the field of mental performance, ultimately pursuing a master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Psychology. Now, Aaron is able to offer his services to athletes and performers of all ages and abilities to help improve their physical and mental performance.

Since returning to the Bloomington-Normal area in 2015, Aaron has worked with hundreds of athletes through group training, private and semi-private training, speed and agility camps, and as a track and field coach. By 2016, Aaron had joined the International Tennis Performance Association and became a Certified Tennis Performance Specialist as he trained high level junior tennis athletes who have transitioned to collegiate careers at the Division I, Division II, and Division III levels. His appetite for knowledge led to additional certifications in speed and agility (CSAC) and weightlifting (CWPC).

Aaron has experience training athletes of multiple sports including tennis, softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, wrestling, soccer, hockey, golf, and track and field. As a track and field coach, registered through the Certified American Sport Education Program, Aaron specializes in high jump and sprints.

In addition to being certified through the Illinois Elementary School Association and Illinois High School Association, Aaron is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, National High School Strength Coaches Association, International Tennis Performance Association, and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
